Sketch Riot is PHIT Comedy’s weekly showcase of the best Live Sketch Comedy that Philadelphia has to offer. Every week has something different, whether it’s a brand new show by one of PHIT’s esteemed sketch house teams, an exceptional performance from an independent comedy act, or a scripted comedy show that defies easy description. The only certainties with Sketch Riot is that rules will be broken, and fun will be had.
HEADLINE ACT
This performance is headlined by Fox Plaza.
Fox Plaza is a group of performers who love to play with the sketch comedy medium. They've all written and produced their own sketch shows and are now combining their talents to explore their wildest imaginations. Together these three plan on writing really dark and absurd sketches. It's about to get weird.
OPENING ACT
This performance features opening act The Pat & Andy Show.
Andy and Pat have been doing improv in the Philadelphia comedy scene for over a year. Now they put their comedy skills to the test and wrote an entire show where they do not have to make anything up on the spot. Through this show Andy and Pat will explore topics near and dear to their hearts, and also sports.
